Hart of the Matter #7: Dr Jennifer Louise Tonge (Baroness Tonge)

My guest tonight is a member of the House of Lords, the un-elected, Upper House of the British parliament. Lady members of it have the title Baroness. My guest, Baroness Jenny Tonge, is a politician who paid a price for offending the Zionist lobby.

Until 2004 she was an elected member of the House of Commons and the Liberal Democratic Party’s frontbench spokesman on international development. She was sacked from that position when supporters of Israel right or wrong mobilised against her after she made a statement about suicide bombers.

She is one of the very, very few in public life who will not be silenced by Zionist lobby pressures.

  1. Cllr David Durant:

There are people who make perfectly reasonable comments and the roof falls in. I call this walking blindly into martyrdom. It happened to Jenny and opened a previously unknown world of the zionist lobby.

However I do not agree the way to curtail the influence of powerful lobby groups is by the state funding (and no private funding) of political parties.

There already is state funding of political parties, including high pay/allowances for senior politicians and trying to curtail private donations will just encourage loopholes and corruption.

The solution is voting reform. At the moment the money is spent trying to influence a handful of voters in a handful of seats to vote for a particular party.

By changing the voting system you are no longer dependent on the above to win elections. And because cross-party coalitions will become normal, there will be more transparency on what takes place.

  2. Anthony Gratrex:

I admire the work you do and am in agreement with virtually everything you say except for your attitude regarding the media.
You state that the jews do not control the media but that it is under self censorship.
This is patently wrong and only a cursory glance using the internet will show that a majority of the media is jewish owned or controlled.
During the interview you use the expression “who pays the piper calls the tune” and that is precisely the problem when one considers who controls the international banking system.
