If Israel can compel the USA to intervene in its wars by threat (made o USA) to use its nukes (against Arab enemies), then it has no legitimate fears and all the blather about Iran is precisely that — blather.

We should tell this story (about USA help in 1973) over and over again.

And Abarbanel’s “take” on the Jewish-Israeli psyche confirms what my uneducated guess always was: that the dominant people of a country founded in robbery and murder and forced exile and much worse done by the Fascist (as Einstein said) terrorist gangs that rid Palestine of Britain in 1945-48 — such a people are criminals to the bone and cannot be otherwise. The Netanyahu government of 2015 seems to bear this out.

Actually, it is safe to say that virtually every mainstream publication or or other type of media organ is “nothing more than a screen to present chosen views.” The great battle over the last century has been a battle for the mind of the Western peoples, i.e., non-Jewish Euros.

The chosen won it by acquiring control over essentially the complete mainstream news, information, education and entertainment media of every type, and using that control to infuse and disseminate their message, agenda and worldview, their way of thinking, or rather the way they want us to think.

Since at least the 1960s this campaign has been effectively complete. Since then they have shaped and controlled the minds of all but a seeming few of us in varying degree with almost no opposition or competition from any alternative worldview.

So now most of us are mentally trapped in the box the chosen have made for us, which we have lived in all our lives. Only a few have managed to avoid it or escape it, or to even sometimes see outside of it, and so actually “think outside of the (Jewish) box.”

Dear Alan, your visit to Kalamazoo few years back still reverbates with many of us for your depth of intellect and analysis. One book that sheds light on events from the 1950s till now is The King’s Counsel by Jack O’Connel. It is an insider account of the 1967 and 1973 wars, as well as the Gulf wars. Interesting and disturbing as well.

Also, thanks for Rehmat’s input on the Pakistani pilots bravery which did not make headlines then. We are always grateful.

Rehmat, thanks for the additional info. By the way, Kissinger managed to drive a wedge between Egypt and Syria by getting Sadat to unilaterally cease fire without consulting Assad. This enabled the Israelis to redeploy their Sinai war machine against the Syrians – we know the rest! Treachery galore, not forgetting, of course, King Hussein’s solo flight in his helicopter to Jerusalem to alert the Israelis that Egypt and Syria were cooking something, but luckily arrogant Sharon contemptuously dismissed the king’s treachery as hallucination.

@ Sami – there is another thorn in Israel air force which Israeli military historian hate to mention.

During October 1973 Israel’s Yom Kippur war on its Arab neighboring countries – A squadron of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) arrived in Syria to fight alongside the SAF and halt the Israeli advance over the Golan Heights. The PAF pilots Sattar Alvi and Arif Mansoor, engaged and shot down an Israeli F-4 Phantom over Egyptian airspace. Another dogfight between the PAF and IAF over Syrian airspace came to a memorable end with Pakistan obliterating the Israeli Mirage IICJ flown by M. Lutz with air-to-air missiles. This was enough to convince other Israeli fighter planes to bug out and abort all further incursions into Syria.

Other Pakistani pilots who joined Syrian force as volunteers included future Air Marshal Nur Khan, Salem Metla, Shahbaz Khan, Wisaam Faris and Wisaam Shuja’at. Late President of Syria Hafiz Assad awarded two of the pilots country’s highest decorations for gallantry.

Pakistani air force states that all its 12 volunteer pilots scored direct hits against Israeli aircrafts and suffered no losses. During the 1973 war, Flt. Lt. A. Sattar Alvi became the first Pakistani pilot, flying a Syrian aircraft to shoot down an Israeli Mirage in air combat. Similarly on the Egyptian front, PAF pilot Flt. Lt. M. Hatif , flying an Egyptian MiG-21 shot down an Israeli F-4 phantom in an air combat. Pakistani Air Force did not lose a single pilot or aircraft in any of the wars.

There is a misconception that Israel had prevailed against both Egypt and Syria in the 1973 war. In fact, Israel faced a very humiliating certain defeat to the extent that it frantically warned Washington it had no choice but to use its nuclear arsenal against its neighbours, at which point the US intervened decisively by airlifting men and equipment to the battle front, sufficient enough not only to halt the Arab forces, but to drive them back too. Israel is not as invincible as it would like the world to believe.
