Another aspect of this attack on the Libberty that hasn’t been mentioned involves war crimes. Firing on unarmed sailors in the water and in life boats is a war crime under international law.
Israel is still persuing Nazi “war criminals” from the 1940′s and prosecuting them. So I believe we should hunt down the individuals flying those planes and manning those guns on those boats and put them on trail. And when convicted; put them to death as befits the crimes they committed.

I am a retired Navy Chief, and served in the US Navy from early 1955 until 1978 and in the Fleet Reserve until 1984. I held a Top Secret Crypto Clearance and saw the traffic on the killing of my shipmates, and the all out attempt to sink the USS Liberty and to kill her entire crew. This was murder pure and simple. The Israeli pilots knew that they were attacking an United States Vessel and reported such and were ordered to continue their attacks along with the attacks by Torpedo Boats and the machine gunning of life rafts and unarmed sailors on deck.

I have despised everything that Israel stands for since 1967, but could not provide any reasons for my stand until now.

I am now a French National, and could care less about what happens in the USA other than the fact if it falls, I would probably lose my retirement pay. I have no desire of ever returning to the country of my birth. And I hold Zionists in the same contempt that I hold the “Merc’s” such as Blackwater and the others who profit off the killing and wounding of innocents. I feel that Israel has become a Fascist State along with the United States and I refuse to back down from Fascists no matter what Flag they fly.

In America today, you have a small group of Right Wing Religious Fundies along with the very rich who feel that if they can keep the average citizen in ignorance and fear, they can control the government and keep themselves in power.

NSA warned that Egypt and Syria were planning “a major offensive” against Israel. But, an official NSA history states that the CIA refused to believe that an attack was imminent “because [they thought] the Arabs wouldn’t be ‘stupid enough’ to attack Israel.” They did.

Also this Dr. Johnson an NSA historian is still putting out lies about the Liberty.

” Dr. Johnson concludes that based on the available SIGINT that the Israelis did not know that the ship they were attacking was a U.S. Navy ship.”
