you really believe that “extermination” bullshit
you don’t see how the holocaust “story” works in israels favor and how much of a convoluted constipated mess the story really is?
look at the nuremburg trials and tell me how much of it has been debunked as flat out lies with sprinkles of emotional content
im not saying the genocide never happened because it did
but the point of the holocaust story is to change the meaning of the war
make it good vs. evil
gentile(evil destructive untrustworthy) vs. jew (good natured loving innocent and peaceful)
this is the reason why they get away with everything and anything they want
if you don’t see how well the holocaust story has played out for israel you are truly blind

Thermblog, according to your logic, it must follow that my dear Jewish friend Dr. Hajo Meyer, a Nazi holocaust survivor, may also be called a Nazi. What crazy nonsense! Hajo was born in Germany, served in the Jewish underground, was captured by the Gestapo and transported to Aushchwitz. Today at 82 he is still in the front line of the war for the truth of history. When I asked why he is still exposing himself to Zionist abuse and vilification, he replied, "The first person I see every morning is myself." He has to be able to live with himself. I wonder if all those who support the Zionist state of Israel right or wrong can do that. I imagine not, which might be part of their problem. Anyway, I am now posting a present for you; it's a remarkable video documentary I received yesterday from Information Clearing House. It's a very powerful and moving portrait of the reality of Israel's illegal occupation.

I'm not sure the point Thermblog is trying to make here...of those (now over) 900 dead, at least half are civilians and half of those are women and children. Does that mean that we should be happy that "only" over 900 out of 1.5 million Palestinians in the Gaza Strip have been murdered? What I don't understand is why when 10 people are murdered at a subway in New York it's a tragedy (to just throw out any analogy) while when 900 people die in the Gaza Strip it's "self-defense."

I just watched a wonderful Lebanese film about the 2006 war ("Under the Bombs") and the director spoke and said that what was most tragic about the Israel/Palestine question was that both peoples are Semitic and they both hold similar values and cultures.

Anyway, I hope Alan Hart doesn't mind me commenting on his blog. I found it as I am reading "Arafat: A Political Biography" and enjoying it very much.

I take exception with the logic (or lack of it) exhibited in your post.

First you suggest that nearly 900 civilians killed in two weeks demonstrates restraint?

Then you suggest that anyone who engages in name-calling is a Nazi? Which means we are all Nazi's which means that the term Nazi is now meaningless.

Lastly, you question the "credibility" of Al-Jazeera. Perhaps you believe that all the blood is Ketchup and all the dead bodies filmed are merely actors?

Are you immoral or just ignorant? That is the question.

By Gazan numbers there are 900 dead after over 2 weeks of intensive bombing of a heavily populated area.

This indicates an obvious attempt not to take civilian lives. So it's not "Nazi."

However, the use of defamation and name-calling was a Nazi tactic.

So if name-calling is legitimate, you may be called a Nazi.

(Do you really find Al-Jazeera credible? What's in the tea at the BBC?)
