ZIONISM UNMASKED – A fairy tale that’s become a terrifying nightmare
Short answer: One, not necessarily a Jew, who (to quote Balfour) supports the Zionist state of Israel “right or wrong” and who cannot or will not admit that a terrible wrong was done to the Palestinians by Zionism – a wrong that must be acknowledged and then corrected on terms acceptable to the Palestinians if there is ever to be peace and the countdown to catastrophe for all is to be stopped. The Arab word for the catastrophe of the original dispossession of the Palestinians is Nakba. In my view, Zionism’s Nakba denial is as obscene and as evil as denial of the Nazi holocaust.
One thing nobody can deny is the effectiveness of Zionism’s propaganda machine. Zionism’s spin doctors probably learned from the Nazis that the bigger the lies and the more frequently they are told, the more likely it is that they will be believed in the mainly Gentile, Judeo-Christian or Western world; and all the more so when the mainstream media is terrified of offending Zionism either too much or at all.
The biggest of all of Zionism’s propaganda lies is the one which asserts that Israel has lived in constant danger of annihilation, the “driving into the sea” of its Jews. As I document in detail in my book, Israel’s existence has never, ever, been in danger from any combination of Arab force. Not in 1948. Not in 1967. And not even in 1973. Zionism’s assertion to the contrary was the cover which allowed Israel to get away where it mattered most, in North America and Western Europe, with presenting its aggression (often state terrorism) as self-defense, and itself as the victim when actually it was, and is, the oppressor.
The companion propaganda lie is that Israel never had Arab partners for peace.
Zionism has two hallmarks.
One is self-righteousness of a most extraordinary kind. In 1986 this self-righteousness was described by Yehoshafat Harkabi, a former Director of Israeli Military Intelligence, as “the biggest real danger” to the Jewish state.
The other hallmark is a shocking and awesome arrogance of military and economic power and the influence the latter buys, most critically in the U.S. Congress where what passes for democracy is for sale to the highest bidders.
On the matter of truth as it relates to the making and sustaining of conflict in and over Palestine that became Israel, I hope the German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer (1788-1860) is right: “All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.” If that’s true, Zionism not only can be defeated but will be.

What I so much appreciate about ALL your articles, is the clearness of analysis and exposition. Whoever reads this article, undoubtedly must come to one simple conclusion: That your arguments are irrefutable. And that Israel is an illegal state. Only a person who is not aware of the bare facts of history and on top of that is under a complete Zionist propaganda spell could be tempted to openly challenge your statements.
Yes, Zionism will go away. And perhaps sooner than some expect – or fear.
Yes THEY are afraid! “Among USA citizens, support for Israel is diminishing by the hour”, said today American Legal Advisor, Mr. Lamb, in a Live comment from PressTv’s Beirut Studios. “You can hear the drum-beat of war as America’s Congress pressures Obama into attacking Iran, because the Zionist Lobby wants him to. … Once you attack Iran, all the world’s eyes will be turned away from Israel and its evil ways”.
That, in a nut-shell, is Zionism’s way of dealing with the rest of the world.

Myth–you have that right. You have a mixed people of Oriental (majority Ashkenazim) and Sephardic (minority Semitic)origin claiming a “birthright” left to a different people thousands of years in antiquity. A property claim by “normal” humans of this nature would be laughed out of any court in the civilized world. I’d like to think that reason will prevail–that even many Zionist Jews will, at the last moment, come to their senses. If not them, at least, the rest of the world must realize that it now has to deal with mad Zealots with 400 nuclear weapons, guided missiles, submarines and God knows what else. And what is the goal of these Zealots? A mass killing of ordinary humans–perhaps in the several billions–and the imposition of a world messiah-dictator to rule terrorized slaves with a “rod of iron”.

Thanks for your article Alan. I am a Muslim and whenever I think about this issue, I look at it this way. If all Arabs in Mecca (or all of Saudi Arabia) convert to some other religion (Hinduism or Christianity), would Muslims from all over the world (Asia, Africa and other parts) have the right, with support from rest of the world, to expel the Saudis from their motherland because as per our religious book that land belongs to Muslims. We can drive them out in the worst possible way and make claim on that land based on what Koran says. It is like asking the entire world to share my religious belief. Claims should be made based on historical facts and not on one’s religious believes or prehistoric folk tales.

I live in NYC and have many Jewish friends who cannot accept that Zionists are not Jews as Zionists do not follow the Laws of the Torah. I first came across this when reading about the Satmar Jews who do not accept the creation of the State of Israel as being legitimate.
The corruption religions has caused the deaths of hundreds of thousands of innocent people.
This sitting President Obama must make it clear that Israel withdraw to it’s 1948 borders and make a peace with its neighorin countries. Israel needs water from Lebanon and oil from Iraq; Let them get it the old fashion way and that is to pay for it.

So even if every Jew was a Zionist, and that is not true, Zionism would still be a majority non-Jewish secular belief.
