Essence of the suppressed truth

PROBLEM NUMBER ONE is that because of the awesome power and influence of the Zionist lobby in all of its many manifestations, our leaders and their governments are never going to use the leverage they have to cause or try to cause Israel to be serious about peace unless and until they are PUSHED TO DO SO BY INFORMED PUBLIC OPINION, by expressions of real democracy in action. In the American context for example, no American president is ever going to be free to use the leverage he has to cause or try cause Israel to be serious about peace unless and until enough Congressmen and women are more frightened of offending their voters than they are of offending the Zionist lobby.

PROBLEM NUMBER TWO is that the citizens, voters, of the Western nations, Americans especially, are TOO UNINFORMED AND MISINFORMED TO DO THE PUSHING because, with the complicity of the mainstream media, they have been conditioned by Zionist propaganda to believe a version of history which simply is not true.

In summary then I say this. The truth of history is needed to EMPOWER the citizens of the Western nations to make their democracies work for justice for the Palestinians and peace for all. Without this empowerment there is not in my view a snowball’s chance in hell of justice for the Palestinians and peace for all; and the cancer the conflict is will eventually consume us all.

I want to conclude with an appeal for some assistance for promoting the truth of history here in Germany. In the coming weeks the German edition of Volume 1 of my book will be published. It is possible that the Zionist lobby here in Germany will use its influence to prevent the book being on display at the Frankfurt Book Fair. We shall see. But Volumes 2 and 3 will not be published, cannot be published, unless the publisher receives financial assistance to pay for the translation. If any of you here have ideas about how this assistance could be provided, I ask you, please, to tell Dr. Gabi or through her, me.

If I had written an epic, pro-Zionist book, wealthy supporters of Israel right or wrong would have thrown money at it for promotion of all kinds; and they probably would have funded a Hollywood movie based on its substance. It is a sad but true fact that virtually unlimited resources have been available for telling and selling the lies of history, while the truth has not commanded any significant financial support from anywhere. And that, in my view, is the main reason why, to date, Zionist might has triumphed over Palestinian right.

Though I might expose myself to a charge of naivety for saying so, I remain committed to the belief that IF citizens of the Western nations WERE properly informed about the truth of history as it relates to the making and sustaining of the conflict in and over Palestine that became Israel, they would want their governments to act – to use the leverage they have to bring about justice for the Palestinians and peace for all – and would insist that their governments did act.

Thank you.

The Bible does command the Jews to take the land with violence. As the Bible says, “The Lord is a man of war”.

Thanks again Alan. I had read some of this on “My Catbird Seat” and enjoyed getting the full speech. It is wonderful to have the combination of passion, truth and the ability to express your ideas simply and clearly.

A brilliant speech which does get right to the heart of the matter. I too am one of the few who know that the UN, prior to partition, set up a commission to study whether they had the legal right to partition – and the commission concluded that the UN did NOT have that right, but only the right to implement the Palestinian Mandate. This information is available on the unispal.un.org Web site, quoted as follows:

    Quote:

The reports of the two Sub-Committees were presented to the Ad Hoc Committee on 24 November 1947 in a highly charged atmosphere. The report of Sub-Committee 2 (voted on before the report of Sub-Committee 1) detailed the arguments for a unified Palestine, addressing the legal question of the competence of the United Nations to partition the country:

“A study of Chapter XII of the United Nations Charter leaves no room for doubt that … neither the General Assembly nor any other organ of the United Nations is competent to entertain, still less to recommend or enforce, any solution with regard to a mandated territory …

“… the General Assembly is not competent to recommend, still less to enforce any solution other than the recognition of the independence of Palestine, and that the settlement of the future government of Palestine is a matter solely for the people of Palestine …

“To sum up, the dissolution of the League of Nations, and the consequent removal of the legal basis for the Mandate, and the more recent declarations by the Mandatory of its intention to withdraw from Palestine, open the way for the establishment of an independent government in Palestine by the people of the country, without the intervention either of the United Nations or of any other party …

“The above conclusion is by no means vitiated by the provisions for the establishment of a Jewish national home in Palestine. It was not, and could not have been the intention of the framers of the Mandate that the Jewish immigration to Palestine should result in breaking up the political, geographic, and administrative economy of the country. Any other interpretation would amount to a violation of the principles of the Covenant and would nullify one of the main objectives of the Mandate …

“Moreover, partition involves the alienation of territory and the destruction of the integrity of the State of Palestine. The United Nations cannot make a disposition or alienation of territory, nor can it deprive the majority of the people of Palestine of their territory and transfer it to the exclusive use of a minority in the country …” 51/

The report’s first resolution, questioning the legal power of the General Assembly to partition Palestine was rejected. The second, recommending international co-operation to deal with the Jewish refugee problem was rejected too, but the Ad Hoc Committee decided to include the recommendation in its report to the General Assembly. The third, calling for the establishment of an independent unified Palestine was also rejected.

The report of Sub-Committee 1, in substance the amended Special Committee’s majority recommendations for the partition of Palestine, was then voted upon on 25 November 1947. The vote was 25 votes to 13 with 17 abstentions.* Since a two-thirds majority was not required in the Assembly sitting as Ad Hoc Committee, the proposal to partition Palestine was approved and recommended to the General Assembly.

You write: “…the belief that IF citizens of the Western nations WERE properly informed about the truth of history…”
Well I think that we must regard to be properly informed as an active research, need and unfortunately citizens(most of them all over) consider it as a passive way much like the baby being fed by breast or with a bottle. As long as we do not connect the dots the liars criminals of the orld will prevail. Connecting the dots is to realize that Justice Freedom Truth and some other core values are not given but conquered and we must further realize that this conquest is not a one time for all conquest but a non stop conquest because the very moment we drop our guard we lose it all. Unfortunately most people don’t want just don’t want to know because it is a most comfortable situation. When I try and trust me I try hard to show the true history the true facts I am, 9 times out of 10, called a conspiracy nut when not worse…People don’t want to know. They don’t want to be awakened…

A very important speech. The lies about Israel history are outrageous.
I am not sure that citizens of Western countries can do much, but I am sure that the citizens of Israel can. And they are morally obligated to act.

  6. David King:

Thank you I learnt a lot. I don’t know though if any decision for peace will be made in Washington; especially considering that US is hurtling towards being a police state.
