Is a peaceful resolution of the Israel-Palestine conflict REALLY possible?
While I was reflecting I also recalled the words of former President Carter. As I reveal in Is Peace Possible? the Epilogue to Volume Three of Zionism: The Real Enemy of the Jews, he said the following when my wife and I had the pleasure of a lengthy conversation with him and Rosalyn. Any American president has only two windows of opportunity to confront the Zionist lobby and its mouthpieces in Congress. The first window is the first nine months of his first term because after that the fund raising for the mid-term elections begins. The second window is the last year of his second term if he has one.
I must be honest and say I have only the smallest amount of hope that in what is left of his presidency Obama will find the courage to do what is necessary to give peace its very last chance. In my view he is more likely to wash his hands of the Israel-Palestine conflict and say, as he said when he first called for a settlement freeze and Netanyahu told him to go to hell, that he and America “can’t want peace more than the parties themselves.”
Such an excuse for another and final Obama surrender to Zionism (par for the American presidential course) would be a denial of one of the truths of the history of the making and sustaining of the conflict, it being that as far back as 1979 the pragmatic had Arafat prepared the ground on his side for peace on terms any rational government in Israel would have accepted with relief. That, 35 years, is how long the occupied and oppressed Palestinians, the vast majority of them, have been prepared to make peace with an Israel confined to its borders as they were on the eve of the 1967 war.
Of course I would like my pessimism about Obama doing what is right and best for all parties (and the whole world) to be proved by events to have been without foundation, but if events do not provide the proof I will take my conclusion that Palestine is a lost cause off hold and close my Palestine file, in order to do something more useful with what is left of my life.

Palestine is NOT a dead cause. Two Islamic Resistance groups in the region has proved that under the guidance of dedicated leadership and with Islamic motivation, a direct or indirect western occupation can be defeated. Iranians proved that in 1979 by throwing US-UK-Israel “strongman” out of country and establishing an Islamic “theocracy”, making Iran the greatest regional power.
In 2000, Lebanese Hizbulaah defeated Israeli occupation of South Lebanon with possessing tanks, helicopters and F16s. It repeated the same victory against Israel-US-UK military alliance in 2006.
The Israeli leadership has admitted on several occasions that they don’t know how to defeat Hizbullah on battle field.
As long as, Palestinians have the support of the ‘Axis of Resistance’ (Iran-Syria-Hizbullah), there will always be hope to remove the Zionist regime and establish one Palestine state over historic Palestine with equal rights for both the Natives and the foreign Jews.
In September 2013, in his farewell interview with Israeli newspaper The Jerusalem Post, former Israeli ambassador in Washington, Michael Oren, a very close friend of Israeli prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, admitted that Israel wanted the removal of Syrian president Bashar al-Assad from power from day one.
“Tehran-Damascus- Beirut arc is the greatest danger to Israel. The initial message about the Syrian issue was that we always wanted Bashar Assad to go, we always preferred the bad guys who are not supported by Iran than the bad guys supported by Iran,” Oren said.

The problem I see with Israel saying they want is that after signing a peace agreement there would likely be a false flag attack where some Jews would be killed (most probably Palestinians with yamulkas put on their heads) and then that lying tub of shit Netanyahooha could say “I told you so ,they are wolves in sheeps clothing. As far as Obama is concerned I have no doubt in my mind that Israel would assassinate him and his whole family if he pissed off Israel and our wonderful congress and senate would stonewall any real investigation just like they have concerning the U.S.S.Liberty for the last 47 years.Think about this Andrew Adler of the Atlanta Jewish times printed that the Mossad should assassinate President O,Bama and nothing happened to him,If I or any other American published something like that I am sure we would be put away for a long, long time. I hope I am wrong but I feel America has been sold out for Shekals and paid for votes.

People of our generation, Alan, may never know which of your two predictions eventually comes true. But it is never, ever, a lost cause to hate lies and love the truth, to write it, to shout it from the rooftops. Please do not fall silent on Palestine as long as you have breath to breathe. Thank you for all that you have done.

Israel owes its parasitic existence to the US taxpayer. The real question remains: for how long can the host continue to provide sustenance?

An excellent insightful piece, but I would not give up on us if I were you Mr Hart. Most of what you wrote is true but one fact is missing. We Palestinians have proven time and time again that we don’t do surrender or defeat no matter what the sacrifices are. The Arab Regimes and their masters in Washington and Tel Aviv (including the PA) might seek ‘PRAGMATIC’ solutions with the Zionist Entity but we, the Palestinian Nation’ will never ever give up or accept any solution short of total liberation of our lands and full restoration of our rights.
The USA is a different issue all together. Many Americans are waking up to the fact that they are occupied too and that we, ARABS/Muslims don’t pose a real threat to their country or way of life. Zionism, both Christian and Jewish, is the real threat to them and they now know this and are starting to question the ‘special relationship’ that is costing them dearly.
No Mr Hart, please don’t close your file on Palestine. The Zionists will never prevail. We, Palestinians, will make sure of that.

Dear Alan, I am an Israeli citizen. I am very much aligned with your views. They help me to assess my understanding of this erratic Zionist mess.
I assume that the 2nd option is the more probable: i.e. Israel refusing to let go of the 1967 loot, further intensifies the persecution of the Palestinians and escalates its aggression towards the final showdown, that is to execute the thorough ethnic cleansing of Palestinians as it had been planning for many decades. All this will likely lead to a nuclear holocaust, locally and perhaps also beyond.
I have chosen to remain in Israel even if the replay of the Masada syndrome shall drown us all; I wish to witness the boat sinking.
So, Alan, till then please stay online.

Click here: Law Suit Filed with ICC Against the State of Israel By Ronald Douglas Kennedy
Freedom the work’s of Men and Women holding up the torch of law vs. The club of bloody death, is a work in progress. These good Men and Women of our world will continue moving the torch forward under law. As in war ” you never give up your weapon”. In this modern day under international law. You never give up enforcing the documents of Law.
the genesis of this basic problem. Old faulty, tribal teaching’s, that zio law is superior. Above all other Law’s. There also told there god is above all other’s.
The continuing occupation of the Palestinian Country, and Palestine Lands. Is not just a Arab Country or President Obama responsibility. Its the U. N. and signatories, members. In enforcing the agreements as singed in 1947/48 by Israel. In honoring hear spoken word, and Documented Agreements she willing signed.

Dear Alan,
I read your piece with great interest, great respect and mounting concern. You are probably right in everything you say but Jafar Ramini is right: please don’t close your file. We need you. I have told visiting Palestinian friends: “When you go back, tell them this, that we will never forget them, we will never give up”. I will keep my word. Thank you for everything you have done. May I thank you for everything you will do.

Jafar M.Ramini, No more than the Palestinians have “”a drop of surrender Blood in Any one of Them… Neither Does Alan Hart. To give up Would be Writing Defeat over the graves of Every Palestinian Who has Been Murdered by these Zionist jews. That Cannot Be allowed to Occur. Time Is Ushering in CHANGE ..It may not be a Change that Screams Loudly just YET..BUT It IS awake and Will not DIE. YES, There will be a Victory for The Palestinians.. And IT Is going to come about Soon..Due to the Courage, perserverence and The Fortitude of The People who Don`t know How to Give UP..nor ever will. They say that “”Good Things Come to Those Who Perservere’. And I Firmly DO Believe This. SO What …That b.Netty Wants to Make ‘throwing a stone Back..In retaliation of Bullets and Mortars being SHot at The Stone-throwers… a punishable crime !!!!.. Remember ”David And Goliath ? Who Won That uneven ‘ ‘fight ?’ We Simply Can`t Quit the Battle when we are THIS close to Having an END to it..that All Can abide by. Alan Hart is NOT saying he Has ‘Given UP’. He is Saying..He is Tired of The Battle that Rages SO long with So many Stops and Starts to it…But..Even so, The Good WIll prevail over The BAD. So, Keep the Faith…Trust. For God Never Quits.

Its always darkest before the dawn. BDS is making progress, with Universities, government agencies, churches and businesses divesting themselves of Israeli companies or companies that have connections with the occupation. Many artists have, joined the boycott of Israel and awareness of Israel’s crimes is growing. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Boycott,_Divestment_and_Sanctions#2009.E2.80.932012
The Palestinian resistance is still alive despite the heavy odds against them and betrayals from certain Palestinian leaders. The Palestinian resistance has allies in Hezbollah and Iran.

I find your comment that it would ‘of course’ be in the interests of the Palestinians if a peace were imposed in which they agreed to accept only 22% of Palestine curious.
It’s possible that may be the case — but surely it isn’t obvious? Two more attractive possibilities come to mind.
The first is to insist that Israel honor what are still her only legal borders — those set forth by the UN in 1947. Here, it’s worth pointing out that Israel herself accepted these borders, so Israel can hardly object. This solution — or rather, this compliance with the declaration that established Israel in the first place — would allot approximately 45% of Palestine to the Palestinians. The borders are already laid out and everything. Obviously, that would be preferable to 22%.
The second is to allow the Zionist state to complete its visible process of self-immolation. Why rush to agree to 22% — or even 45%? Help Israel destroy itself and wind up with 100%.

I think that the Israeli+Palestinian conflict is essential to end, it harms plenty of people, but I can see how little is helping it to end at the moment. There are things in the world which people are truly disturbed by and plenty of news about that, but even then I can always find more trivial stories in the news in which people are being blamed by the media for small things. It is very hard for anybody to please anyone else at all, and I find it hard to imagine people can get on well together over big things when even small things can’t be negotiated easily a lot of the time. Maybe if people can sort out smaller disputes better, bigger conflicts have more of a chance of being sorted out.

Anyone who believes the Palestinians are a lost cause, doesn’t know the Palestinians. After generations of persecution they are the most resilient, resourceful and determined people on earth, and what’s more they know their cause is just. Not only just, but historically and morally right. To date (since 1967) Israel has killed 10,000 of them, including over 2,300 children since 2000AD alone, and four this year so far. Far from giving up they find new ways of normality every day, strengthen their resistance to savage military occupation and take the aditional blows in their stride. Unfortunately, at the moment with a Zionist-fanatical US president and Saudi Arabia cosying up to Israel, things look bad, but the justice clock is ticking on Netanyahu and his family and the boot-lickers like India will see they’ve backed the wrong
horse.
