Why I hope Israel’s elections will give Netanyahu a fourth term as prime minister

When I was thinking about the political haggling that will follow Israel’s elections to determine who will be prime minister, I recalled a comment made to me many years ago by a very dear Jewish friend. He said, “If two Jews were stranded on an uninhabited desert island there would three synagogues!”

  1. Sami:

The role of the Israeli prime minister is that of an executive who implements the aims of Israel’s founders with room to manoeuvre within broad parameters. Therefore, the Palestinians may continue to suffer and be denied their inalienable rights so long as the effective rulers of the West (the ‘founders’) are in a position to impose their will on the world and continue to support Israel willy-nilly, irrespective of the excesses of its crimes or who is at the helm of its government.

  2. Roy Hayes (the Rev):

Alan Hart… I want you to know that I circulate your essays. I’ve circulated all the videos at your website at one time or another. I have an extensive mailing list. What’s more, there are people on my mailing list who have mailing lists at least as extensive as my own. Mideast Peace = Peace of Jerusalem = World Peace. Peace, Roy+

  3. Rehmat:

Dear Hart your wish reminds me of Dr. Daniel Pipes, who wrote in 2009 that “If I can – I will vote for Ahmadinejad, because his re-election would be good for Israel as it would further isolate from the ‘World Community’.”

Last week Netanyahu whined during a campaign speech that some “foreign groups” are funding a campaign to convince Israel’s Arab population (20%) to use its votes to topple Likud party government. He also warned that if that happened, Arabs could make the first Israeli government in 2024.

BTW: Ahmadinejad still scares the hell out of Zionist Mafia.

  4. Ronald Douglas Kennedy:

Greetings Alan: NO. The children of Gaza , need help now from the Jews of the Book. The zionist lust for blood and land is over. If not Israel will sink in its own cesspool, book of history. Whose to say the Palestinians are not the lost tribe?

  5. Sami:

Just to add to Ronald Douglas Kennedy’s comment, the inhabitants of rural Palestine are the descendants of the Israelites, some of whom turned to Christ at the first Pentecost while most of the others adopted Islam in the 7th Century AD. The rest eventually became Jews. I say ‘became’ because there was no such thing as a Jew in Palestine up to and including the 4th Century AD. Shlomo Sand’s book at http:/inventionofthejewishpeople.com/ is a useful reference.

In fact in the original text of the Christian Bible compiled in Hellenistic Greek for emperor Constantine, the word Jew does not appear. Somehow, the word crept in centuries later!

Another point: Christianity is the New Testament. The Old Testament was added to produce voluminous work to impress the ruthless Constantine and was always intended as the ‘before’ and the New Testament the ‘after’.
