In theory that’s good news because such a state would make it impossible for Zionism to go on selling its propaganda lies as truth, and that in turn would significantly improve the prospect of Israel being called and held to account for its crimes.
I think Tzipi Livni understands that.

I have just viewed a most remarkable Al Jazeera documentary, The Lost Cities of Palestine. It should be required viewing by all citizens everywhere, especially in the U.S., who have been conditioned to believe the mother and father of all of Zionism’s propaganda lies – that Palestine was “a land without people for a people without land.”

Tzipi Livni, a war criminal and Zionist “honey-pot”, would be the last person to be trusted by a moral person. Last year, she claimed that she had sex with two of Mahmoud’s boys at the negoitiatings. She is wanted as a war criminal in South Africa, Britain and Malaysia.
In November 2012, Israeli daily The Jerusalem Post published a report in which former Zionist foreign minister and daughter of a European Jewish terrorist, Tzipi Livni, in which she called PA victory at the UN General Assembly, a “strategic terrorist attack”.

Livni has to endure a lot ~ i cannot imagine her stamina and resolutness. I wish there were a lot more of her to help wear down the intrusive hardened basalt.
Her saying this on Army Radio is odd? Did they not know what she was going to say? or did they give it they’re imprimature?

The ‘land without people…’ lie, I’ve recently discovered, was coined by an English diplomat. I’m sick of arguing with Israel supporters about the existence of Palestine in the past. I’ve been reading Shamir’s autobiography, ‘Summing Up’ lately, and it is full of references to the country by name in his younger days. And even then, my contention is that it doesn’t matter what an area is called if the people who inhabit it have done so for centuries. Nevertheless, the documentary you mention will be worth searching for.
The most testing question for any Zionist is: how can Israel possibly want peace while it continues to steal Palestinian land for settlements? Your ‘from the horse’s mouth’ stories, Alan, about conversations you had with Perez, for example, spell it out clearly. What a pity the technology wasn’t as accessible then for you to have secretly recorded them!

Dear Mohamed, since there is nothing similar between Israel and nazism we will not be stopped according to your logic. Meanwhile Israel will continue to thrive, as the sole democracy in the middle east, where members of all religions have complete freedom of worship. Where Arabs are parliament members, doctors, University professors etc’. If you would just drop your hatred and focus on democracy maybe one day you will have a uni ranked above 500. Wishing us all peace.

It seems to me the main point is that Isreal never wanted peace. From day 1 the leadership and right wing elements always wanted all of what is called historic Palestine. The settlers were part of the strategy. The gov’t has subsidized the housing, the moving and all the utilities and services. So this article misses this very important point.
There was a youtube video of Netanyahu in some family’s living room. They were very concerned about proposed peace agreements as I recall. Netanyahu, sitting there in shirt sleeves, with a bit grin on his face, told this family not to worry as there would never be a peace settlement.
The fact that the settlers are a small army in their numbers and are full of hubris adds another diversionary layer to the situation. Now there is no need to look at the true gov’t goals because they now have the settlers to worry about and appease.
